This was 10th v 2nd, with the visitors really losing any chance of winning the league when they were beaten at home by the league leaders Thame Rangers on Saturday. This defeat means that Thame only need a point from their three remaining games to take the title, as they are now eight points clear and have a far superior goal difference than Totternhoe.

This is the first full season that P & I have been playing at this ground, and with the Bank Holiday matches at a premium, it meant it was something of a ‘ground hoppers convention’, with upwards of thirty in attendance today. The club really missed out on a bit of a money spinner by not issuing a programme for today’s match.
